Ken believes that community service and education are important parts of being a good Realtor. In recognition of his service, Ken was named the 2013 South Carolina Realtor of the Year. Ken has been named “Best Realtor in the Pee Dee” by readers of the Morning News and was also recognized by the South Carolina Realtors Association with the Distinguished Service Award. The Florence Chamber of Commerce has recognized his service to the community by naming him Business Person of the Year. He also serves as Chairman-Elect of the Chamber of Commerce. Ken has served as a Commissioner on the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education and is Chairman of the Francis Marion University Board of Trustees. He has served as Chairman of the Florence County-Municipal Planning Commission, President of the South Carolina Association of Realtors and President of the Florence Board of Realtors. In recognition of his service, Ken was awarded the Order of the Palmetto for "exceptional dedicated service to the Palmetto State". The Order of the Palmetto is given by the Governor and is the State's highest civilian honor. Ken's record of community involvement is matched by his commitment to providing exceptional service to his clients. He has been a consistent top producer during his 30 years in the real estate business and has been recognized by induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. Ken is an active member and Elder at First Presbyterian Church. He is the husband of Debbie and father of Emily, a Clemson and USC School of Law graduate and Tyler, a student at the USC Honors College.
